Coach Robin taught me how to run intervals at the track yesterday. The idea is to push yourself a bit, but learn to run at a consistent pace over and over. So we ran a lap, then rested, then ran again, and tried to keep the pace the same. This is tricky to do when you get tired and sort of feel like throwing up at about lap three, but your coach says “arms!” and so you remember your arms, and just keep running and then pretty soon, thank god, you’re done.
