We even got goodie bags!

We drove to the country. We ran. We ate waffles, we drank mimosas. And we laughed. It was a good Sunday! Thanks to Laura McClain of Run Momma Run, every delicious Off the Waffle was perfect, the Silvan Ridge Early Muscat wine was sweet and crisp, and the talk by Cathie Twomey Bellamy of the Eugene Running Club was fantastic.

More than just waffles - a post run feast!

Seeing old friends, meeting new people, and chatting with horses, cows and frogs are all part of the deal when you’re running along a scenic road in the cool fog of early Spring in the Lorane Valley, near Eugene, Oregon.

Pink and black are in this year.

Even Michael of Long Run Photography and Erik, the two lone men who showed up to bravely photograph a sea of 75 women in running gear were fun. And patient.

And I was not a problem.
