I’m going to San Francisco tomorrow, and to the Moonalice concert in Oakland. They’re opening for That Irish Band. You know, that band with those guys who have funny nick names? Bono. The Edge. Adam. Larry. Yeah, them. And I’m taking Alana, the Pink Oh! Shoe with me, because she needs to experience music, and maybe a trolley car ride.
I’m so lucky, I don’t even know how to start explaining how all this stuff happens to me.
So I’ll just say thank you. Thank you to all the amazing people I meet, online and in real life, who end up encouraging me to keep trying fun, wacky stuff, and who pull strings and give gifts and trust me with their brands, and sponsor me on these little adventures that I just can’t say no to, so I keep saying yes.
You know who you are. And so do I.
Again with the thank you.
And I have to give a special shout out to my new best friends and sponsors at Oh! Shoes, including Greg, the CEO, a master salesman who let himself be sold and Debbie, the VP of Everything who knows more about shoes and fashion than I’ll ever know, and especially to Don, the CFO, who innocently said “Wait, you have a mannequin?” over lunch the other day.
Yes, I do. Yes, yes, yes.
And now, let the journey begin!
