Join us over on our Meetup page! You don’t have to live in Eugene, Oregon, we can help you find new friends to walk and run with anywhere. This free forum provides a great way for you to correspond with each other without giving out a lot of personal information if you don’t want to.
And we’re having fun on the CMRC Facebook Fan Page too. Please hang out with us!
Feel free to leave comments here, and especially links to your fitness blogs or any other related topics. No spam please. It ruins it for everyone.
FITNESS blogs I like (feel free to add yours in comments):
Every Mom to Iron Mom: My friend Robin is an amazing triathlete, and is attempting to coach me through the exciting world of the ridiculousness of running, biking, and swimming all in one day. Cool people can do it, but I am not cool. Still, I said I’d be willing to try anything in the name of adventure. Meanwhile, I’m teaching her about Twitter, which seems like a silly trade if you ask me, but hey, I LOVE Twitter, man, and I think Robin should too!
Run Like a Mother – Sarah and Dimity are walking the talk and running the run – if you’re a mom and a runner, you’ll love them and their book. Great advice for new or experienced runners.
MizFitOnline – I love Carla! And she’s got tattoos!
Did I Just Eat that Out Loud? – by the hilarious “Mrs. Fatass” – hey, she named herself, not me!
Training For Fun – Luann, the perky former Rocket Scientist, made me balance on a ball once and I told her about Twitter too. And then she went off to do the flying trapeze at circus camp and doesn’t need me anymore.
Run Momma Run – by my friend Laura in Eugene, OR who has a great Thursday morning, 6:00 a.m. running group that I keep promising to run with, but for some reason keep sleeping in instead. Oops.
HUMOR – People who make me laugh:
The Women’s Colony – by the witty and utterly charming Mrs. G., who runs Derfwad Manor, lowering the bar for women everywhere.
The Bloggess – She’s funny. Seriously funny. Beware the occasional reference to sex and the F-bomb if it bothers you, but she always uses it in context, you know…
